Sweet little Melani found herself in a high kill Animal Control in Northern Georgia. Of course she was terrified where she was, as most kits are!!! It's a truly scary place!!!

Melani is a very calm and relaxed kit. But still slightly skittish. Loud noises and sudden movements will put her in a defensive position (You can only what is going on in this sweet girls mind after being dumped at Animal Control and now in a loving home, but she feels, will they also take her to the horrible place?)

Occasionally, she will gently nip or be mouthy to alert you to stop whatever it is she is disapproving of. She has never bitten or scratched where it has broken skin. Pet slowly and gently, as sudden movements are considered aggressive.

She enjoys laying in the window and looking outside.& has had zero litter box accidents.

She prefers cloth or string toys vs feathers. Enjoys both close cat and mouse type games and long chases. Also enjoys a laser pointer.

Her health is very good. Overall a very active and playful cat. Will require dedicated playtime. I do believe she is nearsighted. She had trouble seeing water. But did well with a fountain type water system. I have also noticed this while playing with the laser pointer. Now she is looking for her furrrrever home!!! One that will always love her and never make her endure the conditions of Animal Control every again!!!
